DMPED has been publicly stating there is no project right now to actually discuss or fund.

• ANC 2B Land Use Committee in Feb 2023 at 1hr 44min — DMPED: “There is no specific project that’s on the board now”
• ANC 1B Econ Dvlpmnt Cmte in March 2023 — DMPED: “We are at an early stage” “We don’t have a project before us yet to discuss”  “There’s not project that you and I can comment on”
• ANC 1C Planning Zoning & Trans Cmte in March 2023 — DMPED: “There’s no discrete project at this time”
• ANC 1C Planning Zoning & Trans Cmte May 2023 — DMPED: “There is no project no, there are no plans now, there are no proposals now.”

Yet the DC Department of Transportation and the DC Office of Planning have filed public reports to the DC Zoning Commission with very acute numbers showing that a project program exists somewhere in the halls and rooms of DC planning officials and the Councilmember, Brianne Nadeau.

Meanwhile the future of the 3rd District Police Station and Engine 9 Fire station is completely up in the air.
